The Lincoln, carrying over 5,000 personnel, departed San Diego on November 21 last year, originally scheduled to operate in the Indo-Pacific region.
However, it was redeployed to the Middle East in January.
Since then, it has been engaged in responding to Iranian missile and drone attacks and participating in blockade operations against Iranian ports.
